How to set up Asia United Bank (AUB) Payroll Bank File

We have added support to export Asia United Bank (AUB) Payroll Bank File. However, before exporting the file, you would need to set it up, here’s how:

Setting up AUB bank file.

  1. Login to your PayrollHero Account.
    • Make sure you have admin access.
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Click on “Banks” page
    • Click on “Add new bank” and set up the AUB bank, something like this: Screen Shot 2015-10-31 at 10.31.50 am
    • Click on “Create” once done. 
  4. Go to the “Bank Enrollments” page and set up the AUB Bank Enrollment.
    • Click on “Add a new Enrollment”
    • Select “Philippines: Asia United Bank (AUB)
    • Select the bank you created for AUB.
    • You can set the Activation Delay to “0” so it starts on the Day it’ll be used.
    • And then set the “Company Name” as it will be used and is part of the AUB Bank File.

  5. Now that you have the Bank and Bank Enrollment set up, the next step would be enrolling/adding the employees to the AUB Enrollment.You have two options in setting up the employee’s enrollment.
    • Add via the Enrollments page on the Employee Profile.
      • Select the “Philippines Asia United Bank (AUB)” and click on “Add a new enrollment”

      •  Enter the “Membership Code” which is the Bank Account number of the employee. This should be a 12 digit number.

        * Join date must at least be the start of the pay period or earlier.
      • Click on “Create” once done.
    • Another option is using the Multi Insert Tool – Employee Enrollment Update. You can learn more about this on this support article – Multi Insert Tool: How to Mass Update Bank Enrollments to Each Employee Profile?
  6. Once the employees are enrolled and you generate payroll. The AUB Bank File can be found at the Payrolls page of the specific pay period (cut off) under the new “Bank Files” section.Payrolls page - AUB Bank file report

     

  7. Click on the AUB link to export the bank file.
  8. Bank file is a text file. Name is always the same – “payroll.epf”.
