We’re pleased to announce that PayrollHero now supports PhilHealth contribution exemptions for qualified Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) and Solo Parents, in accordance with:
- PhilHealth Circular No. 2026-0017 – Persons with Disabilities (PWDs)
- PhilHealth Circular No. 2026-0015 – Solo Parents
What’s New?
With this enhancement, PayrollHero will automatically adjust PhilHealth contributions for eligible employees:
- Employee Share: No PhilHealth deduction from the employee’s salary.
- National Government Share: The government-covered portion is reflected without affecting the employee’s net pay.
- Employer Share: The employer’s regular PhilHealth contribution remains unchanged.
- Automatic Refunds and Adjustments: Previously deducted employee contributions within the applicable exemption month can be refunded or adjusted in the succeeding payroll.
How to Enable the Exemption
Simply go to the employee’s Profile → PhilHealth Enrollment → Edit, then enter the applicable PWD Verified On or Solo Parent Verified On date.
For multiple employees, you can also update their enrollment details in bulk using our Multi-Insert Tool.
