Release Note: Special Holiday Rollcall days can now automatically be created similar to Regular Holidays

Currently, when a Special Holiday comes, the rollcall day for that day doesn’t get created unless the employee works on a Special Holiday. This is because of the DOLE rule that is hard coded in PayrollHero that Special Holidays have a “No work, No pay” policy in the Philippines.

However, we have received requests that some companies wants to pay extra for employees not working on Special Holidays. A workaround solution was to manually create the rollcall days for Special Holiday…

We have now fixed this…

We’ve created an option for your PayrollHero account to automatically create rollcall days for “Special Holidays”. This is similar to how Regular Holidays currently behaves. Once this feature is enabled, the attendance page will look something like this if a day is set to be a Special Holiday:
