PayrollHero automatically calculates Public Holidays based on the rules set in the individual employee’s contract following MoM standards.
We have 3 pay modes on PayrollHero: Monthly, Hourly & Salary
Salary: An employee on a salary get’s paid a fixed monthly amount that does not vary. Attendance does not affect this paymode so therefore if the employee works on a Public Holiday it will not affect their pay.
Monthly: An employee on monthly get’s a monthly compensation amount that can be altered by attendance. So if the employee works less or more their pay would be adjusted accordingly. In the case of a public holiday they would get paid in line with the standard MoM rules
Hourly: An employee on hourly pay gets paid for the hours they work. If the employee works on a public holiday they would get paid in line with the standard MoM rules
